Meryl and I tanned and ran and then started getting ready for her birthday. The friends we made from South Texas College of Law threw Meryl and little birthday party, which was so nice! The boys made fajitas and the girls got a cake and we all had Vodka tonics. Also, Jana (the Czech student) came over and brought plum brandy, which is a Czech drink. We had dinner and played drinking games (which later turned out to be a bad plan for me). Meryl had a lot of fun and so did the rest of us.

Plum brandy shots! We were supposed to meet the Cal Western boys, but we got lost, so it was just the 9 of us and Jana took us to a few bars in Prague. At the first one, we ordered the fiery shots for everyone and I guess I knocked mine over and caught my foot on fire, which is definitely the #1 worst thing that has ever happened to me while drunk. I know have burn marks all over my foot and ankle, but I wasn't the only one who sustained injuries. A couple of the girls, including Meryl, also burned fingers. The table and floor caught on fire and everyone was really scared the bar was going to burn down. I, however, was oblivious to this since I was sitting outside icing and crying about my burned foot. Then at the second bar, we were all so tanked we left without paying by accident and got chased down the street by the Czech waitress. Thankfully, Jana took care of it and we were able to leave with nothing more than dirty looks. Overall it was a great and crazy night and everyone had an amazing time!

After our 10 mile walk....Last night, we were all exhausted so we took it easy and we got tickets to the Prague premiere of Sex and the City. Us girls were soooo happy about it because we didn't think we'd be able to see it until we got back. The movie was great, the perfect ending, and Meryl and I talked about it all the way home, which wasn't very pleasing for Harris!
Tonight, Meryl and I are going to see a marionette opera of Don Giovanni and then we leave for Dublin in the morning, so it should be a great weekend and I can't wait for more adventures!
