Bachelors, strippers, and bridge jumping...oh my!,

I cannot believe that I haven't posted in almost 2 weeks. It's slightly ridiculous so I'm going to do my best to remember everything!
So last Friday, the 23rd of May, the two UK girls we met in Budapest, Clementine and Elizabeth came to Prague for Elizabeth's birthday so we got to go out with them again. We went to this 5 story dance club called Karlovy Lazne. My favorite floor is the bottom floor because they play all 80s music and the floor lights up in different colors!

The next day, Saturday, Meryl and I walked around a little bit for the first time! We didn't have a ton of time, because we were celebrating another birthday that night (which I'll get to later), but we did get to see the famous Charles Bridge, and the Tower and a Church. We also took pictures of the law school...

Here are the pictures of the bridge and the tower:

The church (will look up the name)

While we were walking up to this tower, I saw a young guy (our age) holding a poster that said HUGS for 1Kc and KISSES for 2Kc. I just started laughing. The guy (Jan) called us over and said "Hug for 1Kc?" I said, "What?? I have to pay??" He told me the first hug was free so I said ok and he gave me a hug. Then he said, ok, now for 2Kc, you can have a kiss. I said, Nooo I really don't want a kiss! He said it's ok, he would give me one on the cheek. So I said ok and then he made me pay 2Kc! Turned out, Jan was with a bunch of his friends for his bachelorette party (or stag weekend as they call it over here). It was really funny!

After we left, we ran into two guys wearing FSU shirts so Meryl goes, Oh my gosh!! FSU! They stopped and it turned out they were here for the undergrad program. It is seriously such a small world! We had to get home quickly to get ready for our friend Gary's 30th birthday. We met him and his friends (our Cal Western Boys) at this bar Chateau where Meryl and I proceeded to be superclassy and down several glasses of wine.
Turned out, as we found out later, that our classy wine came from a box! After Chateau, we went to the best bar I have ever been to, called Lucerna Music Club! It's like Yianni's in Tallahassee but 10 times better. It's this massive warehouse type place that plays all 80s music and there are actually screens playing the music videos on the wall. Meryl and I took a couple of shots of absinthe, which has become a bit of a tradition for us.
Notice the looks of pain on our faces...

The best part about the night was that Meryl and I went up to the DJ booth and asked for our favorite 80s songs. Meryl's is Whitney Houston's I wanna dance with somebody and mine is B-52s Love Shack. He played them almost immediately so we were really happy about that.
After we left Lucerna, we went to a Czech strip club called Hot Peppers, which was interesting to say the least! We only stayed there for one beer (thankfully) because it turned out they charge the equivalent of about $10/beer which is highway robbery!

After leaving Hot Peppers, we went to the Charles Bridge to watch the sunrise, which was really beautiful. We've now seen sunrises in Budapest and in Prague, which is pretty cool.

After staying out so late, Meryl and I ended up sleeping really late and wasting pretty much our whole Sunday (minus time for a run). After that, I vowed that the next week would be full of more sightseeing, because I just couldn't believe I had lived in Prague for a whole week and seen nothing!
